About the Opportunity

Rapid Finance is seeking a Temporary Data Entry Specialist to join our rapidly growing Operations team in Bethesda, MD.  The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and inputting data from uploaded client supplied documents into DMS (Document Management System) to prepare the client for the underwriting review.

Specifically, the Data Entry Specialist team member is responsible for entering and verifying the information provided is legible and accurate. Documents that will be reviewed include but are not limited to bank statements, business financials, driver’s license, credit card and mortgage statements. Team members will be required to have an error rate of under 2.5% and maintain a daily goal of 200 documents processed.

About You

  • You are quick and accurate with data entry.  If you have prior experience in client service, clerical support or data entry, even better.  Experience in financial services, especially banking or lending, industry experience is helpful.
  • You have worked with Microsoft Office and have working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • You understand the importance of reviewing your work, correcting errors, and protecting confidentiality, especially when handling critical client data.
  • You pride yourself on your high attention to detail and getting things done on time.
  • You are comfortable working in a paperless environment.
  • You can analyze a situation in order to make fact-based decisions and recommend possible solutions.
  • You are driven – you tackle your goals and are eager to take on more.
  • You are available to work more than 40 hours per week based on business need.
